Our Story
Find the cure.
We are a southeastern Connecticut based charitable organization established by two empowering and devoted women who were affected by breast cancer and realized the need for a new kind of breast cancer research organization. A research organization that gives 100% of volunteers’ hard work to finding a cure.
Our Why
Find the cure.
Women in the U.S. have a one in eight lifetime risk of getting breast cancer. This means for every eight women in the U.S., one will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her life. Like yours, our community has been heavily affected by breast cancer. We have seen and witnessed the change communities can make for breast cancer research. We want to continue funding to find a cure, until the disease is gone.
Our Research

We believe we have the best scientific advisory board in the country. Our advisory board seeks to select clinical and pre-clinical fellowships in high impact, breast cancer therapeutic research areas. The research sponsored by TBBCF has produced several advances that have been published in some of the world’s most prestigious journals.
