Grand Wine & Spirits (GWS), a faithful supporter of the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation (TBBCF) since 2011, continued its dedication this year and raised $8,324 surpassing its 2019 breast cancer awareness fundraising campaign goal.

On Thursday, Jan. 15, Chuck Bowe, owner of Grand Wine and Spirits, presented a check to TBBCF’s Amelia Caster, director of development and outreach and Deb Gillig, TBBCF events and promotions coordinator. Also on hand for the check presentation were Ben Suhr, GWS vice president and Sandy Maniscalco, TBBCF co-founder.

Every year from mid-September through October, the five Grand Wine and Spirits stores in the region are lit up in pink tags with donations being made to TBBCF with the purchase of many brands of wines, beers and liquors.

Since 2011, Grand Wine and Spirits has raised more than $60,000 for TBBCF through their breast cancer awareness month campaigns and other seasonal promotions.

The company also has been a Sapphire Sponsor ($1,000) for the past four years.

Grand Wine and Spirit shops are located in Mystic, Waterford, Old Lyme and two in Groton – one on Route 12 and the other on Poquonnock Road. Click here for more information.
