Please join the Terri Brodeur Foundation in celebrating its 15th anniversary at our annual meeting, which will be a virtual affair at 5:30 p.m. on July 13.
Nick Saccomano, a founding member of the foundation and chair of the Scientific Advisory Board, is the keynote speaker.
Saccomano has more than 35 years’ experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology research and development. He began his career at Pfizer Inc. and is currently senior vice president and chief scientific officer at Pfizer Boulder Research and Development Group. He is a graduate of State University of New York College at Buffalo and earned a PhD in organic chemistry from Columbia University.
The foundation has a lot to celebrate this year. Despite limitations because of Covid-19, volunteers and supporters were able to participate in a virtual walking marathon in October and raised nearly $300,000. The foundation awarded four 2021 fellowships to researchers from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
