TBBCF Welcomes New Board Member and Thanks Departing Board Members

The Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation is pleased to announce that Deborah (Deb) Fountain is joining its Board of Directors.
Deb brings over 20 years of experience as a real estate agent and is the co-founder of The Fountain Team of William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty. A dedicated community advocate, she has been actively involved in numerous service initiatives, including food drives and local events. Deb also co-founded and leads “Power of the Together Southeastern Connecticut,” an organization committed to raising funds for local non-profits.
"I lost my mother to breast cancer 45 years ago, when I was just 17”, Deb shared. “Supporting the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation allows me to honor her memory and ensure that the critical research we need continues—so that fewer families have to experience the loss that forever changed my life."
"We are honored to welcome Deb Fountain to the board of the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation” shared Debbie Yother, board president. “Her passion in the fight against breast cancer will be invaluable as we continue our mission to support research and empower those affected by this disease".

The Foundation would also like to thank departing board members, Lisa Carroll and Tricia Cunningham. Lisa Carroll, a founding board member, has served the Foundation for 20 years. She previously held the role of board secretary, co-chaired the Foundation’s inaugural Walk in 2006, and has remained a volunteer and supporter of the Walk for a Cure throughout the years. Tricia Cunningham joined the board in 2019, bringing with her a strong background in nonprofit leadership and fundraising. Her innovative ideas and fresh perspectives have made a lasting impact on the Foundation’s work.
As we welcome Deb to her new role, we also thank Lisa and Tricia for their dedication, service, and invaluable contributions to our mission.
Together, we remain committed to finding a cure for breast cancer.
