Debbie Yother, TBBCF Board President, welcomed attendees to the meeting, followed by a moving tribute to TBBCF founder Norma Logan, presented by Board Secretary Amy Caster. Amy shared the story of the Foundation’s beginnings and Norma’s vision that brought it to life. The tribute was followed by a candle lighting and moment of silence led by Norma’s Logan’s Heroes, honoring her enduring impact.

Stacey Gualtieri, TBBCF Treasurer, shared the Foundation’s financial update, highlighted sponsorship opportunities, recognized top 2025 walk fundraisers and provided an update on the upcoming Walk for a Cure in October.

Last year, TBBCF received an extraordinarily generous $125,000 donation from Norm Boulanger and Stacy Tattar, in memory of Norm’s first wife Sharon Boulanger, who passed away from triple negative breast cancer. In recognition of this gift, the Sharon Boulanger Memorial Grant was awarded to Dr. Alexandra Indeglia, one of this year’s grant recipients.

John LaMattina, co-chair of the Scientific Advisory Board and a TBBCF board member, introduced Andi Boulanger, daughter of Sharon Boulanger, who shared heartfelt reflections on her mother’s legacy and expressed sincere gratitude to Dr. Indeglia for her important research advancing the treatment of triple negative breast cancer.

John then introduced our keynote speaker, Dr. Indeglia, who is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Brigham and Women’s Institute working in the Genetics Department. Her research focuses on identifying novel strategies for targeting heterogeneity and plasticity in triple negative breast cancer. Dr. Indeglia provided an engaging and hopeful overview of her research, highlighting promising progress in the fight against triple negative breast cancer.

Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner provided by Flanders Fish Market and Restaurant, a valued sponsor of the annual meeting. The evening concluded with dessert and the celebration of TBBCF’s 21st year—a milestone marking over two decades of dedication to research, support, and community.

We would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to Flanders Fish Market and Restaurant and to our two talented volunteers, Shawn Stiles and A. J. Sarrol, who provided photos and videos of this event.
