The Terri Brodeur Foundation recently received a $1,000 donation from Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce from the sale of its Pop Up Book of Stonington.
The book was designed, engineered and printed by businesses and organizations from the area. It includes pop-ups of Mystic drawbridge, the Charles W. Morgan and the Old Lighthouse Museum. Proceeds from the sale of the book were distributed to many non-profits in the area during a chamber event Sept. 12.
“The Terri Brodeur Foundation (TBBCF) is so grateful for the generosity of the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce (OCCC) for their donation to the foundation; not to mention other deserving charities. The Stonington Pop-Up book is an amazing piece of art and a great coffee table book; but then to have the funds raised from the sale of the book go back to the community to so many deserving businesses and nonprofits is amazing. Thank you so very much,” said Patti Burmahl, president of the board of the Brodeur Foundation.
