There’s Still Time to Join Us for the Walk!
The countdown is on! Our Walk for a Cure is Saturday, October 3, and there is still time to be part of this special day.
Haven’t registered yet? It’s not too late! You have until NOON on Wednesday, September 30 to sign up. Whether you want to join us in person or virtually, we would love to have you walking with us. Every walker, every mile and every dollar raised brings us closer to our goal of funding vital breast cancer research. There are lots of opportunities – a full, half or quarter marathon or the family friendly 5K, which takes place within Camp Harkness. Virtual walkers can walk, run, swim or bike at their own pace on their own time. Virtual walkers have till the end of the year to complete their miles!
Remember—the Walk is about more than just the miles. It’s also about coming together as a community to celebrate, support and cheer on our walkers as they cross the finish line.
Join Us for the Closing Ceremonies!
We encourage everyone—family, friends and supporters—to come out and be part of the celebration. Bring your lawn chairs, find a spot near the finish, and help us give our walkers the enthusiastic welcome they deserve after their journey.
There will be complimentary food for our walkers and their families, along with games and activities for the kids. And we’re excited to welcome Azalea Drive, who will be playing live from 1:30–3:30 p.m. Stay for our inspiring Closing Ceremony at 3:45 p.m.
Whether you are walking 26.2 miles, a shorter distance, participating virtually, supporting someone you love, or simply coming to cheer, you are part of the TBBCF Walk for a Cure community.
So… register, invite your family and friends, pack your chairs and join us on October 3. So on this 21st Walk for A Cure let’s fill the finish-line area with music, laughter and cheers and make this a wonderful celebration for every walker who crosses that finish line.
